12 Inspiring Real World Applications: Driving Whisper

This film follows the experience of a driver on a long, unfamiliar journey.

After the User Study workshops had been completed we made three films and used animation to visualise and demonstrate the design concepts we had developed. We used the same titles and themes that we had in the videos we showed at the London Design Festival 2018: Ready…Steady…Relax, Driving Whisper and Motoring Makeovers.

This film follows the experience of a driver on a long unfamiliar journey. The driver enacts with a dashboard interface that is designed to provide them with a sense of time, movement and progression on their journey in order to relieve anxiety and increase their sense of control. The dashboard interface’s simplicity, organic curves and soft colours provide only the necessary amount of information for the driver, and only when the information is relevant and needed.
