‘Able to Geek Out.’

By Eve MacNeill

Some of my favourite parts of researching have just been being able to access the amazing spaces at the V&A, and being able to geek out as a music fan.

At Blythe House, I got to see Jamie Reid’s original Sex Pistols T-shirts, as well as one of Keith Richard’s beautiful embroidered jackets. When volunteering in the T&P Department, I got to look through the internal drive, which included letters between the department and various pop and rock heroes (Bowie! Yoko Ono!) about loans of material.
